A LGBQT novel and a pure love story centred around Kelly a happy go lucky character who just wants to make his family proud and succeed within his sport. Focussing on his experience of first true love his friendships and his relationship with his best friend Pip.
The book delves into the trials that some of his friends within his community face especially a love interest Lance.
Lance is the typical all American boy, on the football team and the son of a homophobic parent. He’s ashamed of who he really is which leads to self loathing and self destruction .
This book will have you feeling every single emotion the characters feel, beautifully written and sensitive issues dealt with exquisitely. And if you want to know if Kelly gets a happy ever after you’ll just have to read the book.”
